CANDIDATE AND STUDENT MEMBER AS VOLUNTARY MEMBER

YERMAM has two different statuses a Candidate Member and Student Member as an voluntary member.

 

  1. Candidate Member:

Professionals who have not yet completed the required time to become a member of the profession can become candidate members with the decision of the YERMAM Board of Directors when they apply. The requirements sought for candidate members are the same as the membership requirements, except for the duration of experience in the profession. The application documents are the same as membership.

Candidate members do not pay fee during their candidate membership and do not have the right to vote in the General Assembly. They have the right to participate and contribute to YERMAM trainings and activities.

The candidate member automatically loses this title when she/he has completed the time required for the membership of YERMAM in the profession. The right to apply for YERMAM membership is reserved.

 

  1. Student Member:

The students who are studying geosciences, mining, metallurgy and third and fourth year students who are planning to continue their career in geosciences and mining can become student member upon the decision of the Board of Directors of YERMAM when they apply.

Student members do not pay fee during their student membership and do not have the right to vote in the General Assembly. They have the right to participate and contribute to YERMAM trainings and activities.

The student member automatically loses this title when her/his studentship is over. The right to apply for YERMAM candidate membership is reserved.
